This week I was joined by Rand Hindi, Founder & CEO of Zama.ai, a startup pioneering a new age of privacy through homomorphic encryption.
Rand holds a PhD in Bioinformatics which he has put to good use as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. His first company, Snips, produced a custom B2B AI-powered voice assistant that was later acquired by speaker and home sound system company, Sonos. When he's not running his latest startup, he moonlights as a deep tech investor with an investment thesis towards companies working on Privacy, Blockchain, High Performance Computing, Medical Hardware, Bioinformatics & Psychedelics.
We cover a lot of ground in today's discussion from Alpha Fold's latest protein discovery to the paradox of consumer blockchain applications to psychedelics and mental health. It was a pleasure speaking with Rand, I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
